About Me
I was born in Beijing and now study in the United States. Moving between two cultures that are often seen as opposites has shaped how I view global issues. The differences are not only political but also personal. I have seen how easily assumptions replace understanding and how little attention is given to how these issues affect the next generation.
Two Shores began as a space to look more closely at those realities. I wanted to understand how technology, trade, and education connect and divide young people in both countries. Each post focuses on what these global forces mean for students and early professionals who are trying to find their place in a changing world.
My goal is to write in a way that is factual but also reflective. Every piece builds from real events and aims to explain why they matter rather than simply describe them. I created Two Shores because I believe meaningful understanding starts with clear writing and curiosity, not with headlines or slogans.
